Here’s our Waterfall cocktail : A cocktail for mums blue cocktail

Waterfall is a picturesque landscape in a cocktail. Tasty and easy, too. You won’t be apprehensive pouring this layered drink. Follow our lead. We’ve worked out all the kinks.

Your guests’ tastebuds will adore the fruity flavour combination while her clear and cloudy aqua blue layers are sweet eye candy.

Recipients: Guests who love sipping long, cold cocktails by the pool, because who doesn’t?

Type: Built in the glass

INGREDIENTS

30 ml Apple schnapps, preferably green like Steinbok Apple Schnapps

15 ml lemon juice

30 ml Blue curacao

100 ml lemonade (Sprite or 7Up if you’re in the USA)

30 ml gin

Ice

Lime wheel

METHOD

1. Get out a tall tumbler and fill with ice.

2. Pour 30ml apple schnapps over the ice, followed by 30ml blue curacao.

3. Slowly pour 15ml lemon juice next. Do this by ‘sprinkling’ it over the ice. I would say, “Drizzling,” but there’s only 15ml so it’s more of a sprinkle. This layer of lemon juice should sit above the blue green layer of schnapps and will look cloudy.

4. Carefully pour 30ml gin over the ice. It should sit in the cloudy layer with the lemon juice.

5. Gently pour 100ml lemonade over the ice.

Finally, garnish with a lime wheel.

Waterfall : A cocktail that is super well groomed, even though she’s in a kitchen tumbler

ANECDOTE

The working title of Waterfall was Kerosene, due to her colour, not smell. 🙂
